How to Find Your Perfect Mouse Sensitivity (and Keep It Across Games)
Sensitivity is personal, but there's a reliable way to find yours — and once you have it, you should never lose it when switching games.
Understand eDPI and cm/360
eDPI is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity — it lets you compare sensitivities across players. cm/360 is how far you move the mouse to turn a full circle. Calculate both with the eDPI calculator.
A simple method
- 1Start with a mid-range sensitivity.
- 2Flick to targets at 90° and 180°. If you overshoot, lower it; if you undershoot, raise it.
- 3Adjust in small steps and play a few sessions before judging.
Keep it across games
Each game uses a different sensitivity scale. Use the sens converter to get the same feel in Valorant, CS2, Apex and more.
