How to Switch OBS Scenes From Your Phone
Alt-tabbing out of a game to change scenes is clumsy on stream. A stream deck puts those actions on physical buttons, and your phone can do the same job for free.
What you'll want on your keys
- Scene buttons: gameplay, just chatting, BRB.
- Mic mute and desktop audio mute.
- Start and stop stream or recording.
- Music play/pause.
Using Deckon
Deckon turns your phone into a deck of keys for your computer. In OBS, give each scene and your mute a hotkey (Settings → Hotkeys). Then pair Deckon over your own Wi-Fi and put those hotkeys on keys, so one tap switches scenes while you play.
