How to Find Good Teammates for Ranked Games
Solo queue is a lottery. A regular squad that communicates wins more and is more fun. Here's where to find teammates and how to make it last.
Where to look
- Friends who already play — the easiest start, even at different ranks.
- Local players — people near you can meet at a café, which builds trust fast. HangOn helps you find gamers near you.
- Tournament teams — players you meet at local events are often looking for regulars.
A trial session tells you a lot
Play a few matches before committing. Do they communicate calmly? Show up on time? Handle losses well? Those matter more than rank.
Make it stick
Set a regular time, agree on roles, and keep a group chat for planning. The session planner helps when people live in different places. Game-specific help: BGMI teammates and Valorant teammates.
