LAN Tournament Day: The Complete Checklist

Team HangOn·15 Apr 2026·4 min read

Playing on LAN is different: new hardware, a room full of noise and no excuses about ping. Use this checklist so the only thing you think about is the game.

Bring

  • Your mouse, keyboard and headset (and a USB adapter).
  • A written note of your sensitivity, DPI and key binds.
  • Water, snacks and a phone charger.
  • ID if the organiser asks for it.

Before your first match

  • Check in early.
  • Set your settings — use the eDPI calculator to match your home sensitivity exactly.
  • Warm up for 15 minutes.
  • Agree on voice and call-outs with your team.

During the event

Between matches, eat, drink water and reset. Talk about one thing to fix, not ten.
